Job Description

Hobbies
Hiking and backpacking, reading, crafts, cooking, biking, traveling (I've visited 38 states and 26 countries)

Fun Fact
While growing up at home, I spoke English, Spanish, and German. Unfortunately, I didn't pick up much German.

Hello, I'm Daniela.

I have always wanted to become a mother through adoption, and I'm so grateful to now be in the process of making that dream a reality. I grew up in the Midwest, a child of immigrants from Bolivia, and I moved to Brooklyn after college. Eighteen years later, I've planted roots as an independent spirit, single by choice, and very lucky to be near many supportive friends and my family - and I'm now ready to welcome a child into my life. I can't wait to share my life and love with a child and would be so honored to become a mother.

My Life

I'm an easy-going person who enjoys life's simple pleasures. I love biking around town, cooking simple meals at home, doing crafts on my couch, and reading. My home is a frequent gathering place for both my family and my friends and their families. On weekends I love the explore the surrounding areas of New York city with my little dog, Sprout, in search of great hiking spots. I'm fortunate to be able to travel often to interesting places near and far. Every couple of years, I go to Bolivia to visit with my extended family of aunts and uncles and cousins. I look forward to sharing all these aspects of my life with my child while also helping him or her discover and explore what inspires them.

My Family

I'm blessed with a close, loving family and many long-time friends whom all play important roles in my daily life. My sister, her husband, my 11-year-old niece, and 8-year-old nephew also live in Brooklyn, and they're all thrilled to welcome another child into the family. My parents share their time between Ohio and New York City and are also very excited to be doting grandparents to a new little one. In addition to my family, I have a network of dear friends in Brooklyn, many of whom are raising small children or are expectant first-time parents.

In Conclusion

Thank you for reviewing my profile. This must be a very difficult time for you, and I hope that you feel supported and that choosing who will raise your child gives you some sense of empowerment. If I am that person, I promise to love your child unconditionally and do everything I can to help him or her thrive.

I have a very big heart and lots and lots of love to share. It would be an honor for me to be chosen to parent your baby. Meet Heather

Job Description
Acupuncturist and Herbalist

Hobbies
Hiking and swimming

Fun Fact
I have traveled to 15 countries

Hello, I'm Heather.

I am a 47-year-old widow who has run her own Acupuncture practice since 2003 in New York City.

I have been in healthcare my whole adult life, working in hospitals and research before moving onto graduate school for Acupuncture. I love helping people and love knowing how the body works in a holistic way. I have constructed my life around this passion and it has been very rewarding.

In 2010, my husband died in an accident, and since then I have rebuilt my life, creating a healing, fun environment for my pup Muffin and the rest of my extended family and friends. Before he passed away, we had tried to conceive. My first pregnancy ended in miscarriage, which is when we discovered my first fibroid. We continued to try, eventually going to a fertility clinic, but with no success. After his death, I tried again on my own with fertility treatments and became pregnant. That too ended in miscarriage, with again more fibroids. After coming to grips with that loss, I realized that adoption was the best way to move forward with building a family. I have always wanted to be a mother and have organized and created room in my life for a child.

My Life

I am from Port Washington, NY (Long Island) and moved to the city in my late twenties. I worked, went to graduate school and fell in love with a Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood boy. His family is still local in the neighborhood - they are very popular and are great support to me still.

With my brothers in the city, my sister and nieces just in Connecticut and my parents in Port Washington, my family is close too. I have many friends and clients here, as I have been in NYC for twenty years working, living and loving it. While I do love the city for all it has to offer, I also love to leave and have a country home in a lake community just an hour outside the city in the Hudson Valley. Great for having friends and family up to BBQ, hike, fish and swim, which I do often.

My Family

I grew up in a Roman Catholic family. We celebrate Christmas and Easter with our extended family and friends. I also join my friends who are Jewish for their traditional holiday celebrations as well the celebrations of my friends who are Chinese.

In Conclusion

I am very lucky to have a happy, fulfilling life and hope you choose me and make my life even more blessed. Thank you again for taking the time to know me.

Meet Jacqui

Job Description
Music and Science Teacher at a local public school

Hobbies
Hiking, biking, sewing, reading, cooking, playing piano, spending time with friends, going out to movies or dinner

Fun Fact
Over the summer, I spent time on the family farm in California Wine Country and learned how to prune trees and all kinds of other farm work.

Hello, I'm Jacqui.

I hope you are well and getting the support that you need to make the right choice for your baby.  I’d like you to know a few things about me.  I teach music and have a wonderful support system around me.  My students say I’m not easy, but I’m always supportive, and pretty funny.  I love my students and enjoy watching them grow.  As a parent, I can’t wait to share life, cuddles, and music.  I’ll always be there to cheer when they succeed and be a shoulder when they need. When I was 18, I made an adoption plan for my son.  I wanted him to have the chance to thrive, and he grew up to be wonderful and successful with his adopted family.   It was the right decision at that time even though it was difficult. I’m excited to have a family and hope my profile will show you the love, and laughter I have to give and the supportive community who will help me to raise your child.

My Life

I live in Manhattan, right between two parks that are beautiful in the summer to hike and explore or in the winter to go sledding after it snows. I have a wonderful support network of family, boyfriend, close friends, neighbors, and my church community. There is also a strong parent support network in my area where I can swap information about caregivers and set up playdates to make sure your baby is cared for at all times. Alberto is my long-time boyfriend who lives 20 blocks away from me.  He has a 4-year-old son that he sees a few weekends a month. We look forward to having play time with my son/daughter and his son, Xander. I also have a wonderful group of friends. We hike, bike, explore the city, and/or eat together. It’s a pretty lively group. If asked, they would probably say I’m funny, energetic, and a supportive friend.

My Family

I have a big family that is supportive of the adoption. They are very caring and warm people.  My parents have been married forever. I’m the youngest and only girl in a family of 5. Each of my brothers has their own family so I have 14 nieces and nephews! Two of my nieces have children so the family keeps growing all the time. My brothers are much older than I am. Growing up, our home was active. It had constant laughter and movement. Holidays were and are still a very busy time of year. Never a dull moment!

In Conclusion

As a musician and music teacher, I look forward to teaching your child all about how to express him/herself through music.  It’s been an important part of my life.  Please know that with me, your baby will be loved, well cared for, nurtured, and guided in every stage of their life.

I’m a third-generation New Yorker! And I love to travel: I’ve been to China, Japan, South Africa, Istanbul and Russia, and all around the United States and other places, too!

Hi, I am Kate!

I’m so happy to be here and I thank you for being here, too. I am so very excited to welcome a child into my home, my community, and my life. I have a remarkable circle of family and friends and love, and I am eager to share it with a new child.

I have always wanted to be a mom. I grew up in a loving, stable home, in a family that valued kindness, humor, independence, curiosity, and equality. These are the things that guide my life, and I look forward to passing them along.

I live in a big, book-lined apartment in a family-friendly, diverse neighborhood in Queens. I have friends all around the world and I love to travel. I love being with kids: playing with them, helping them to do things, listening to them, talking with them, and learning with them.

As I’ve come to learn some of the remarkable stories of adoption, I am humbled by what an awesome undertaking adoption is on everyone’s part, yours most of all. There are so many ways to build families and communities, and I’m so looking forward to building a family this way and to providing a warm and wonderful home for a child.

My Life

I own a spacious apartment in a vibrant, incredibly diverse neighborhood, filled with young families. My life is made up of communities of warm-spirited, big-hearted, talented friends, most of whom have young kids themselves; I love to have them over for mellow potluck dinners or just to hang out. My home is a welcoming space for everyone that I love and care for.

My Family

My parents, Judy and Charlie, are so excited to become grandparents, and they will be very involved in my child’s everyday life.

This child will grow up in a relaxed environment and in a family and community of kind, generous adults, including many friends — all of whom love kids — and who will share their passions and talents. Many I’ve known since childhood: Kiera and Nikhil (both are writers) and their son, Sid; Judd and Michi (amazing musicians) and their daughter, Aki, live on a giant farm in the Berkshires; Courtney makes pottery and lives in Montana; Parker has a community garden on her New York City roof and a second home in Colombia! Karen is a college professor and her 8-year-old, Magnus, and I love to hang out and watch movies together and we all enjoy car-camping trips. Magnus knows that my house will always be a second home for him. I also have many great friends in my neighborhood who are available to babysit and just hang out!

In Conclusion

Thank you so much for looking at my profile. I wish you peace, serenity, love, and kindness, wherever life may take you.

Meet Kelly

Job Description
Running high schools for off-track youth

Hobbies
Hiking, travel, design (especially in my own apartment!), gardening, theater, natural history, and surfing.

Fun Fact
I have been a vegetarian for 28 years, but it’s never stopped me from finding amazing meals all over the world!

Hello, I'm Kelly.

Thank you for getting to know me, and my dog Parker! Our little household is so ready to grow, with your help. I want you to know how excited I am at the prospect of being a mother. I’ve been looking forward to this my whole life. My family and friends are equally excited and my parents are already thinking of how to move their lives closer to me in Brooklyn so they can be a daily part of the baby’s life. As first time grandparents, they are beside themselves with anticipation. Unconditional love is already in our hearts for this baby. And the laughter, curiosity, affection and nurturing that I intend for our family is lying in wait. I will be grateful to you forever for making this possible for me.

My Life

Parker and I like to get outside. We get away on the weekends to hike in the woods or visit friends and family. My parents live 100 feet from the beach in New Jersey, and visiting their home has a big family feel with lots of familiar faces from multiple generations on the weekends. During the week, spending quiet evenings at home and taking advantage of the neighborhood are a priority. Being near a park and lot of playgrounds will offer so many chances to be outside. Tennis, youth sports, and safe places to ride bikes are all easily available. I can't wait to help my child learn to take advantage of what New York City has to offer. Every day includes walking Parker and watching him play with his dog friends in the park - which will become a family event!

Though I live and work in Brooklyn, I see the whole world as my community. I’ve traveled to over 30 countries and all over the U.S., always with an interest in eating great local food and experiencing nature and wildlife. My work means a lot to me. I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to achieve the life they want, so my entire career has been dedicated to helping vulnerable youth gain access to school communities that help them grow and succeed. Doing work that supports my neighborhood and my city means a lot to me. Working everyday with caring people who share my values is priceless.

My Family

My brother and my parents have been supportive of every step of my journey to parenthood, which has been a blessing. Because it is just the four of us, I’m fortunate that my ‘family’ reaches beyond blood relationships. Most of my 'cousins' are old family friends I've known my whole life. Boston, Cape Cod, New London, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington, DC. Detroit, San Francisco, Denver and Seattle. They are everywhere, and I see them when I can.

I can't wait to share these places and loved ones with my child. A close friend has 3 young boys and I spend time with them all 6-7 times per year including vacation. Another longtime friend and his boyfriend are ecstatic about being ‘uncles’! I hope my child will continue the tradition of 'family' meaning the people he or she grows up with so that we all remain connected. You will be part of this family too, certainly in the child’s understanding of who they are and where they come from, but also present in our lives, if and when you are ready.

In Conclusion

Having a family is my greatest wish, and I am already overwhelmed with gratitude that your courage is going to fulfill my lifelong aspiration. I'm ready when you are.

Fun Fact
At almost 42, he is learning how to swim at the urging (and mocking!) of his daughter.

Hello, we're André-Michel & Maymuchka.

We met in 2002 in New York and fell in love with each other and with the city. Soon after we met, our careers led us to live in Africa for four years, in Europe for two years (where our daughter Inés, now 8, was born), before coming back to New York. Having Inés (the joy of our lives) proved more difficult than we had envisaged: we had difficulty conceiving. Since then, after much hesitation (mainly from André-Michel's side), we have totally embraced the idea of making our family bigger by adopting another child. It is a dream for the three of us with the full support of our parents, siblings, and friends on both sides. We are so excited by the prospect of welcoming a baby in our home that we barely spend a day without talking about it.

Our Lives

Maymuchka grew up in Montreal, Canada, in a family originally from Haiti. André-Michel grew up in Douala, Cameroon, a West African country where French and English are spoken. Both of our extended families made of many cousins, aunts, uncles have been and continue to be very present in our lives. The warmth and love that we enjoyed while growing up continue to be central to our own family of three. There is often people visiting us. We usually listen to music. We love talking and hanging out with each other and with friends, traveling and discovering new places as well. A good meal at the end of the day is often a central moment. In part because we have spent the past 15 years together and far from our respective countries of birth, we tend to enjoy moments spent together and with our families as precious gifts. In recent years, New York has become our home, and we are very happy here. At home we speak English and French.

Our Family

Whether it is at home with friends or just the three of us, on our way to school and work, traveling to our families in Canada, Haiti, or simply visiting new places in Morocco, we feel lucky to be together as a family.

Our preferred activities often include playing soccer, biking, picking apples, or skiing. We also enjoy having brunch on weekends, hosting friends and families, and traveling to new and old places.

Shortly after her birth, Inés was baptized at the same church we got married in years before. Standing with us in the picture is the priest as well as her godfather, Patrice, and her godmother, Vivian.

Inés is the joy of our life. She is talkative, sensitive, open-minded and very very loving. Interestingly, she took the bold step of convincing her father that adoption was a great option to enlarge our family. So she succeeded where her mother had not, in less than 24 hours. She made the case that she would really love to have a sibling and that she will take care of her or him. As we write these words, she has asked to edit them so that we make the best possible case for birth parents considering placing their child for adoption.

In Conclusion

A saying holds that it takes only two people to make a child, but it takes a community to raise him or her. We will be privileged to be leading members of the community chosen to raise another child, your child. Thank you.

Hello, we're Andrew and John.

We are John and Andrew and if you are reading this we would like to thank you for considering us and for your role in our journey to parenthood.
Becoming parents was a goal that both of us shared and discussed at our first date almost 12 years ago. After meeting online, we dated for six months prior to getting our first apartment together and then we were married in 2015 in a ceremony conducted by Andrew's father (a retired Episcopal Priest) and surrounded by our friends and family. Our Great Dane "Butch" Etta walked us down the aisle and insisted on joining us on stage. Andrew grew up in Texas and Colorado with his amazing parents and is the youngest of six kids. Although he works incredibly hard, family is and always will be a priority. Andrew is grounded, patient, and always looking for betterment for his family. He is also fun, sarcastic and incredibly generous to everyone he loves. While John is whimsical, creative, and an eternal optimist always looking for the good in situations. John grew up in a loving family in the Ozark mountains of Northern Kansas. He has one older brother and is very close to his family although separated by distance.

Our Lives

For the past 10 years, we have shared our time between the NYC area and our weekend home in Pennsylvania. As we got further along in our adoption journey, we decided to consolidate our lifestyle for our growing family. We sold both our apartments and weekend house and bought a large family home and farm in central New Jersey. We envision our children playing in the fields, fishing in the pond, hiking in the forest, swimming in the pool and having a space to call their own. Education is also immensely important to us, and we have selected our new location with that in mind. It has some of the best public schools in the state. We cannot wait to watch our child grow and learn.

Our Family

Family is so important to us, although our families are not close in distance they are a huge part of our lives. Andrew's parents live in Colorado, and we visit them several times a year and have weekly phone calls. John's family is in Arkansas, and we visit yearly and try to meet up in Michigan or Arizona where we can also visit with Aunts, Uncles, and Grand Parents. John and his bother are very close and speak on the phone a couple of times a week. We also consider our close friends as our selected family, and all are very excited for us to become parents.

In Conclusion

Words cannot begin to express our gratitude for the gift of parenthood available to us through open adoption. We already love this child with all our hearts and cannot wait to become his or her dads and share this journey with you, their birth family.

About Anthony

Job Description

Hobbies
Reading, cooking, traveling and crafting

Fun Fact
I regularly volunteer to read, cook healthy snacks, and play math games with children for New York Cares.

Hi, we're Anthony and Kevin.

We are looking to adopt a child that we can help raise with much love. We met online in 2010, and we bonded over our love of cuisine. As we were getting to know each other, we ate at a new restaurant every week around New York. From very early on we talked about adoption, and we saw that as a possibility in our future. We live in Queens with our cat named Lil’ Poundcake. Anthony is from a big family. He grew up in a small town in Indiana, and both of us go back to visit every year. Kevin is from a smaller family in California which they come to visit us every year.  We both want to read to our child every night, take them to museums, and to see the world.

Our Lives

During summer nights we love going on picnics in Astoria Park with friends, pie-making parties, and brunch every Sunday. When it’s cold, we stay indoors and cook dinner together, cuddle up with our cat, and watch movies.  We love exploring the city and trying new things such as booking cooking classes of food we’ve never made before. We are huge fans of Broadway, so we try to see a show whenever we can. Anthony has a growing vinyl collection, and Kevin collects video games.

We take two trips each year, one trip to an American city, and another abroad.

Our Family

Kevin - My family emigrated from Guatemala. I was raised an only child by my mother, aunt, uncle, and grandmother. My aunt had a daughter whom I consider to be my little sister. I learned from them that raising a child is a job for a group of people who have nothing but love to give.

Anthony - I grew up the second oldest of six kids, many of whom have their own children now. I love spending time with them when I visit. Even though they don’t live in New York City, I try to plan out our vacations to see the kids a few times a year.

In Conclusion

Thank you for taking the time to read about us. We will provide this child with so much love and attention. Our families are looking forward to the day when they can welcome a new member of the family. Your child will not only have us two raising him/her but the rest of our families as well. We understand this is a difficult decision for you to make, so we want to do anything possible to ease your concerns. If you have any questions, we’d love to answer them. We’re so excited to adopt a child and share this journey with you.

Hello, we're April and Reed.

Thank you for this opportunity to introduce ourselves! Our names are April and Reed and we live in Westchester County, NY with our two gentle and lovable cats.  We came to adoption because April’s parents adopted her at birth.  Her experience as an adoptee has been a highly joyful one, and she has lived with and learned from the emotions – and, from time to time, the struggles – of being adopted.

We have lived together for over four years and have been married for more than a year. April is a mental health therapist and loves working with her child clients.  Reed spent many summers in college and more recently as a camp counselor, including summers leading teenagers on multi-day hiking, biking, and canoeing trips.

April is excited to build a family in a similar way to how she grew up. Reed looks forward to providing a safe, loving, and fun home for a child.

Our Lives

First and foremost, we are two people who are best friends and support each other in everything we do. We make each other laugh and always ask how the other’s day was. We spend as much time together as possible and enjoy being active through hiking, kayaking, and playing tennis. We are lucky enough to have access to all these things near our home. The highlight of our summers is traveling to Reed’s family’s lake house in New Hampshire, usually for multiple long weekends full of grilling out, games, playing with our niece and nephew in the lake and being together as a family.

Our Family

We make time to see our families often. Reed is very close with his brother and they more or less have a secret language all their own. Our niece and nephew are sweet, funny kids that we are lucky to watch grow up. Reed’s mother is very active in her grandchildren’s lives, from playing peek-a-boo to cheering them on as they learn to walk. Reed’s father is always excited for a family hike in the woods or to grill out. April’s parents live in Orlando, FL and are eager to take their future first grandchild to Disney and play with them at the beach.

In Conclusion

We wish you strength, peace, and happiness, on your adoption journey as you multiply the love in your child’s life.

Hello, we're Benita and Elyssa.

a loving and creative couple living in Brooklyn, NY. We met and fell for each other so hard that for a minute Benita forgot where her apartment building was and we drove around the neighborhood in circles! Fast forward five years, and we are married and sharing a happy life along with our two cats,
Tucker and Moo.

We are both social workers who adore children. Between the two of us we have worked with children and families for a total of 32 years! In our free time, we love seeing friends, cooking (and eating) delicious meals and making each other laugh.

When it comes to starting a family, adoption feels like the clear path for us, as we know that the definition of family is very simply the people you love, and the people who love you back.

Our Lives

We look forward to having a child at the center of our lives who we will cuddle and kiss and support for a lifetime in becoming the person that they are meant to be. We feel lucky to have the best of both worlds: we live in a diverse neighborhood, in a house with a backyard but are also walking distance to stores, playgrounds and city life. Benita was a preschool teacher and the child will hear lots of singing and will dance around the living room to music, play make- believe and make art projects with glitter, glue, and paint. When they are little, there will be bedtime stories every night, some of them made up with themselves as the main character. With Elyssa, the child will measure flour and sugar for cookies and will lick the spoon! They will play catch and run races in our backyard and look for fireflies on summer evenings.

Our Family

Our family and friends are all excited and ready to embrace the newest member of our family. We are very close with Benita’s parents, who live in Manhattan. They love parks, museums, and shows and will provide exciting family adventures. Elyssa’s parents, with spouses, will be frequent grandparent visitors. A total of 6 grandparents in all! There’s Elyssa’s stepbrother, and generations of cousins as well. We have close friends we consider family, to become “aunties” and “uncles.” They will show love, support and loyalty to our child. We both grew up with family and friends who always asked lots of questions, offering wisdom and ideas. Our child will always have a listening adult for their ideas and stories.

In Conclusion

We would like to meet you and hear more about what you are looking for from us. We are sending good wishes, caring and compassion your way during this time of such difficult decisions. We hope that you will find the path that feels right for you and your child. If you think we could be part of your adoption plan we would be honored. We would work hard every single day to put your mind at ease knowing that this child is deeply loved and cared for.

Hello, we're Carl and Andrea.

Hi, we're Carl and Andrea. We met on Valentine's Day in 2009 (easy to remember!). By our third date we knew there was no going back. Being a closet romantic, Carl proposed in Paris in January 2011 and we were married that July. Even though we were told we would likely not get pregnant, we welcomed our son Wyatt into the family in August 2012 (all 10.5 lbs. of him). And life has been an amazing roller coaster ever since! They say opposites attract, and you can truly see that with us, but that just means there is so much more we can show our child(ren). We easily do agree on the important things: values, education, work/life balance —and we embrace that parenting and being a family is always a beautiful work in progress. We now want to grow our family through adoption, like we always thought we would.

Our Lives

Our lives are a welcomed adventure. We work, we play, we make time for family, we make time for ourselves. Sunday’s at the farmer’s market, summer days in the pool, trips to explore the East Coast, taking the pup to the dog park. We love the ebb and flow between fun packed days and cozy ones with no plan, where we don’t even leave the house. Time with our family and our fantastic circle of friends (who are family too!) make for the best days.

Our Family

Wyatt rounds out our family of three. He is a fearless explorer and creative thinker. He is excited to be a big brother, always getting ready for “my baby”. We often talk with him about adoption. Our house “family” also includes Huck the dog, Raphael the fish, and the 6 chickens (all named by Wyatt). Carl’s family lives nearby and Andrea’s family is still New England-based. Holidays are spent with family and friends; Andrea now makes two turkeys for Thanksgiving! Both of us have had lifelong friends and ones made along the way, and they all enrich our lives.

In Conclusion

We are honored to welcome a new child into our family through the gift of adoption. We are coming into this with open arms and open minds, just like raising our own son, to see what beautiful things it can teach us.

Hello! We are Carolyn and Andrew.

We are thrilled by the prospect of becoming parents and can't wait to welcome a child into our home where we hope to provide as much love, nurturance and encouragement as possible. We have met in 2014 over our shared love of books and food and have been laughing and eating ever since. We live with our dog, Iggy, in a roomy and comfortable apartment in Riverdale with tons of families with kids, parks, and trees – we are also nearby a terrific public school.

Our Lives

We love to spend time outside walking with our puppy, Iggy. We live within walking distance of three parks and playgrounds where kids play on slides or swings, and when they are older, join sports teams. At home, we tend to spend time in the kitchen preparing food and talking and laughing. To wind down, we either read or watch shows.

Our Family

We got Iggy during our honeymoon. A breeder nearby emailed Carolyn, and Andrew took one look at our dog and was smitten.

We celebrated our niece's birthday recently and got to spend time with our baby nephew, Zane.

In Conclusion

We are both quite close to our families, spending holidays, vacations and weekends with them. Our daughter or son would know the love of an extended family including grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins providing support, comfort and belonging.

Meet Chris & JC

We are Chris and JC. We met in 2009 through a dating site. We instantly fell in love and realized we were destined to be together. We were married in 2011 surrounded by 50 of our closest friends and family. Five years ago, we bought a spacious four-bedroom, four-bathroom home in New Jersey. Which we wasted no time improving and decorating. Our neighborhood is incredibly diverse, rich with culture, restaurants, shops, parks, and is only 15 miles from New York City. We are both incredibly hardworking, driven people who have built an incredible life for ourselves. We are extremely close to our family, and it is through the love of family that we realized our desire to start a family of our own. We look forward to sharing our love, our family, and our home with a child.

Our Lives

We love spending time together as a couple with our friends and family. Often you can find our nieces and nephew, hanging out at our house watching movies in our basement. We love having people around our home. We host all of the holidays (Christmas, Easter, Birthdays, etc). We love to travel, often preferring to vacation in warm climates. Our jobs give us the opportunity to visit exciting countries, such as Paris, China, India, and Japan. On the weekends we often visit local farmers markets, go for runs in the park, or just hang out in our yard. Chris is an award-winning artist and illustrator. He can often be found on the weekends painting in his studio or illustrating children’s books. JC is an avid baker, so our home often smells like homemade treats. We are so excited to experience life with a child. We look forward to bedtime stories, museum trips, and family vacations. We know that we can give a child a life filled with love, support, and endless opportunities.

Our Family

We are both extremely close to our families. Chris’s sister lives less than ten minutes away with her husband and three small children. His parents have retired to the south and visit often. JC’s parents are a quick two-hour drive away in upstate New York, so they often come for quick weekend trips to visit with us as well as his sister and her husband in Queens. We stay in constant contact through phone calls, emails and texts.

In Conclusion

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us more. We would love to meet you, and include you on this exciting journey. Should we be blessed enough to be chosen by you, please know your child will be loved beyond reason.
