Hello, we are Lisa & Rob!

We live on the south shore of Long Island with our four cats, Chuck, Diego, Nando, and Jack. We met on Valentine's Day in 1998. After a few dates, we went our separate ways, reconnected a year later, and have been together ever since. We are best friends and have been married for 13 years. We have dedicated most of our lives to working hard, prioritizing our careers, and creating a financially stable home environment for ourselves and our future children. We both have very strong personalities that serve to complement one another. We are very casual, regular people, and we try not to take ourselves too seriously. We drive each other crazy in a fun and healthy way, and we laugh a lot together.

Our Lives

We love exploring our local community and the eastern end of Long Island, spending time at the local parks and beaches and Fire Island lighthouse.  We take day trips to Orient and Montauk points and local farms to pick seasonal fruits and vegetables.  We bird-watch with our cats and make buffets to feed the deer that visit our yard.  Summertime brings barbecues and relaxing swims in our pool.  Fall and winter are for weekend getaways to the Berkshires, and longer vacations when time permits.  We love visiting museums, seeing plays, and any activity from which we can walk away having learned something.  We are curious people who love to learn, and we look forward to exploring with our child all the beauty and knowledge that life has to offer.

Our Family

We have a small extended family, which consists of Lisa's mother, Rob's mother, step-father, sister, brother-in-law, brother, brother's fiancé, and niece. All of our family members live close by, and we see them frequently. They are excited to welcome a new child into the family, as are our many friends, whom we consider family.

In Conclusion

Thank you for taking the time to read our profile. In summary, we offer a stable, supportive, and loving home where our child will be encouraged to learn and grow confidently into the person whom he or she was meant to be. We recognize and appreciate that it is only through the grace of your courageous decision to place your child that we can look forward to growing our small family through adoption - and for that, we will be forever grateful!
