Spence-Chapin’s Adoption Mentorship Program is for adopted middle and high school students. Participating in a community with other adoptees is a great way to build confidence, make friends and participate in fun activities with others who share similar experiences. The possibility for discussions around adoption and identity is always there, but without any pressure.
Mentors and Mentees enjoy meaningful community, educational, and social outings throughout the school year. Mentees benefit from forming peer relationships with other adopted youth and adult mentors, while forming an inclusive adoption community that can carry them through their teen years and beyond.
**This is a closed event for Mentorship Program participants. Mentees can join during the fall or spring semesters. Mentors are recruited on a rolling basis depending on need. For more information, please contact Katie Rogala at firstname.lastname@example.org.**
