Community Night

  • Spence-Chapin 410 E 92nd St New York, NY, 10128 United States (map)

We’re opening our doors and creating a unique way to meet new people and have interesting conversations!

How to Effectively Support Anyone Through Present Moment Communication
Join Dan Sieling as we explore what truly effective support can look like among friends, loved ones, and even complete strangers. We'll be engaging in meditative communication practices to create safe and supportive spaces for one another to express our deepest truths and feel seen in doing so. Dan is passionate about creating safe spaces for others to express themselves freely, in both their "light" and "dark" aspects, and believes that this level of radical allowance is a significant step towards creating a world with more empathy, care, and loving compassion. He is a Korean American Adoptee and a certified facilitator in Meditative Communication (aka "Circling").

In this peer-led group meet other birth parents, enjoy a safe place to share your story, and gain support and encouragement.

Are you thinking about adopting? Drop by to meet with a social worker who will be here to answer all of your questions about adoption.

Community Night is FREE, open to all, and takes place every 2nd Thursday of the month.

Are you interested in leading a support group? A book club? A discussion group? All interests, talents, voices, and topics are welcome. To discuss your idea, call 212-360-0276 or email
