The New York Times, on Friday, June 18, featured an article by Susan Dominus entitled Campaigning for Common Ground in Abortion Debate. The article profiles the Adoption Access Network, a Spence-Chapin initiative which is spearheaded by Cori Lohser, Program Manager for Community Advocacy and Outreach. AAN's mission is to align abortion and family planning clinics across the country with adoption agencies like Spence-Chapin to help women dealing with an unplanned pregnancy explore all of their options. AAN works closely with adoption specialists in clinics and community health centers to provide training, guidance and logistical support.
