Every year, the lives of hundreds of families are changed in a wonderful way through adoption. Some of those families adopted children at-risk for health and developmental problems. Thousands of people participated in Spence-Chapin sponsored educational programs and parenting workshops.

The Spirit of Spence-Chapin Annual Fund enables us to expand services to maintain support for overseas orphanages, and to develop lasting partnerships with other agencies in order to find homes for children in need.

John Borzilleri is a Spence-Chapin parent who knows the importance of our work. “It was 44 years ago today . . . that Betty and I drove to Spence-Chapin during a snow storm to be presented with our little baby girl. She was exactly one month and a day old and no bigger than a Perdue chicken. Son John came along in a warmer time of the year, April 1965.
