Every year, the lives of hundreds of families are changed in a wonderful way through adoption. Some of those families adopted children at-risk for health and developmental problems. Thousands of people participated in Spence-Chapin sponsored educational programs and parenting workshops.

The Spirit of Spence-Chapin Annual Fund enables us to expand services to maintain support for overseas orphanages, and to develop lasting partnerships with other agencies in order to find homes for children in need.

Barry Freund’s annual gift is always in honor of his wonderful parents, Sylvia and Charles. “I wound up with two incredible people and I can’t do enough to make up for what they have done for me,” he says. Barry’s younger sister was also placed through Spence-Chapin. “We grew up in a great home. My annual gift is my way of showing them and Spence-Chapin how much this means to me.”
