Young Adult Adoptee CommunityWhat is it?Spence-Chapin is currently working on a new initiative for young adult adoptees. This group's goal is to provide young adult adoptees with a place to come together for supportive and social activities, as well as share information about topics related to adoption. This is an open group, and you can join at any time and be involved as much or as little as your schedule permits.Who is involved?18-22 year old domestically and internationally adopted individuals who have a desire to connect to other adoptees; to share their experiences in a safe and open environment; to learn about others' adoption stories; and to have opportunities to just have fun!How can I be involved? There are many different ways you can be involved in the YAAC.
How do I get started? Please contact Becky Braun-Slife at yaac@Spence-Chapin.org or 212.360.0213 to introduce yourself, sign up for our newsletter, and get more information. |
