Parenting Teens: The Birds & The Bees

  • Spence-Chapin 410 E 92nd St New York, NY, 10128 United States

Having a hard time connecting with your tween or teen? In this 3-part workshop series, we’ll offer guidance on how to improve your relationship and communication with your child. We’ll talk about how to tell the difference between typical moodiness and problematic behaviors. You’ll leave with tools to help your teen become independent, while still providing parental support and nurturing your relationship.

Does talking to your teen about the birds and the bees scare you? Don’t worry! In this final workshop of our Parenting Teens series we’re talking about healthy sexual development. We’ll cover dating, gender and sexuality, and body image. You’ll get the tools, language, and know-how to open up to your teen and encourage conversation.

Parents with children of any age are welcome to attend. Attendance to all 3 workshops is not required, but encouraged. Light refreshments will be served.

Individual Workshop: $30/person, $50/2 people
Series of 3: $80/person, $130/couple
