Parenting Teens: #AreYouEvenListening?

  • Spence-Chapin 410 E 92nd St New York, NY, 10128 United States

Having a hard time connecting with your tween or teen? In this 3-part workshop series, we’ll offer guidance on how to improve your relationship and communication with your child. We’ll talk about how to tell the difference between typical moodiness and problematic behaviors. You’ll leave with tools to help your teen become independent, while still providing parental support and nurturing your relationship.

The second workshop of our Parenting Teens series takes a look at how communication and relationships are shaped by living in the digital age. We’ll talk about what websites and apps are trending, setting limits on using technology, and how to have discussions about monitoring your child’s internet use for their safety. You’ll learn how technology can be your friend, as well as your child’s, and how it can strengthen your relationship.

Parents with children of any age are welcome to attend. Attendance to all 3 workshops is not required, but encouraged. Light refreshments will be served.

Individual Workshop: $30/person, $50/2 people
Series of 3: $80/person, $130/couple
