Special Needs Adoption

Spence-Chapin is a not-for-profit agency providing services to birth parents, children and adoptive parents. The cost of providing services far exceeds the fees that are charged. The agency does not receive government funding and therefore relies on foundations and donations to keep adoption fees affordable for our clients.

Spence-Chapin uses a sliding scale fee which is calculated based on your family's adjusted gross income.

The Spence-Chapin fee covers adoptive parents screening, birth parent counseling, medical monitoring of baby, placement services, necessary paperwork and ongoing counseling of adoptive family.
