Domestic AdoptionWe regret that, due to the popularity of the Spence-Chapin Domestic Adoption Program, we are not able to accept new applicants at this time. It has long been the practice of the agency to limit the number of waiting families to the number of expected adoption placements. We hope to schedule our next Domestic information meeting in Spring 2010, when space opens up in the program. Please check this website for further updates and announcements.
SPENCE-CHAPIN’S DOMESTIC ADOPTION PROGRAM goes back to the early 1900s when the independent Spence and Chapin nurseries began placing orphaned infants with permanent families. With a century’s worth of experience, Spence-Chapin provides the comfort and expertise that prospective adoptive parents appreciate. Meet Our Staff
Antoinette WilliamsAssistant Director for Domestic Adoption“We have a wonderful team of experienced and caring adoption professionals who are the best at what they do. For us, every adoption applicant is unique. And every adoption gives us the opportunity to help build and support families. The process of adopting can be exciting, perplexing and overwhelming.
