New Jersey Office

In 1997, Spence-Chapin opened a satellite office in Summit, New Jersey, to make the organization's option counseling services readily available to pregnant women residing in New Jersey. Later, the agency expanded its staff in order to offer information meetings and home studies for prospective adoptive parents. Spence-Chapin's New Jersey office has developed strong ties and referral links with health care and social service providers throughout the state. In addition, Spence-Chapin's Adoption Resource Center (ARC) offers post-adoption support to Spence-Chapin birth parents and families; plus seminars and workshops which are open to all New Jersey adoptive families.
