Family Day in the ParkForecasting great weather for a picnic!

Spence-Chapin, along with the African-American Parents Advisory Committee (AAPAC), will host this year’s family picnic in Central Park-- for all families touched by adoption.

It's an opportunity to reconnect with other adoptive families (domestic and international), adoptees, birth parents, travel groups, interim care providers and Spence-Chapin staff.

Attendees will: enjoy food and live entertainment; burn off some calories playing good, old-fashioned relay races and other field games--both for parents and kids; have your face painted; and lots, lots more.

And, JUST ADDED... A Pie Baking Contest for Amateur Bakers. Bring 2-3 pies and let your fellow Family Day attendees decide if you've earned bragging rights as "the best", or if you should hang up your apron.
